Rajah has really come into her own, becoming a spitting image of her lovely dam, GCH Mocha. We would have never dreamed that she would follow so closely in her dam's hoofprints. Not only was she crowned ADGA National Champion and Reserve Best Udder, she also appraised EX92 the same year, just like her dam! Rajah's littermate sister is the 2013 Reserve Junior National Champion and 2017 ADGA National Champion, Best Udder and Total Performer, SGCH New Dreams CB Mochas Esmeralda, owned by Blissberry Dairy Goats (she has also appraised EX-92 twice!). When Rajah was 1st/1st udder Four Year old at the 2016 ADGA Nationals, her sister Esmeralda stood right behind her, 2nd with 2nd udder! In 2017 they flipped places and Esme stood 1st/1st and Rajah stood right behind her, 2nd with 2nd udder! These two are quite a special pair of does, and we couldn't be happier to have Esme in such a wonderful herd.Rajah is a doe who exactly represents balance of the scorecard. She excels in general appearance, have a long, level topline with impressive width in the loin and rump. When Rajah is on the move, not only is she extremely level across the topline, she travels smoothly and strongly on her feet and legs. Rajah's mammary system is almost a carbon copy of her dam's, having a high rear udder with a wide arch and a strong medial suspensory ligament. Her mammary system is well attached and also productive. She is a doe who always milks, regardless of travel or stress, and has averaged 10 lbs per day over her lactations the past three years. Rajah not only excels in general appearance and mammary system, but she shows us beautiful body capacity and dairy strength. She is a clean made, open doe with a lot of strength of bone and width throughout. She truly reminds of the "type of dairy goat that will function efficiently over a long, productive lifetime". Needless to say, we love Rajah! We are fortunate to currently have two Rajah daughters and one son in our herd. We are so grateful to have these animals continue her legacy in our future generations. They all have a beautiful combination of traits that remind us of this maternal line so much. In 2020, we decided to let Rajah retire from breeding (and therefore, milking and showing) so she can remain a loving companion. It's something that she deserves and we are happy to give her after such an incredible career and journey with us.
